I used my dremel tool, to cut out a square.

Then, I transferred my template to the aluminum and made the cuts.
Next, I clamped the aluminum between two 1x4's and made a 80* bend.

With the aluminum in place, I used some rivets to secure it to the panel.

Then, I cut a piece for where the vent/heater controls were (this car didn't have a/c)

Next, I drilled 3 holes for my switches- fan, fuel 1, & fuel 2.
The blank space to the right is for my Nitrous arm switch, which I haven't purchased yet.

As I'm sure Monte knows, you have to drop the column in this car to get enough room to remove or install the gauge cluster.

Then, just reconnect the battery and install the fuses.

Great detailed post Jared!!!

You need to put a video of your car driving so we can hear it. It's one of the best sounding cars I have heard.

Thanks Chris!  Cheesy
When I started it up last night, my neighbor came over and said, 'I could hear your car in side my house, it made the walls shake!'
All I could say was 'Thanks.'  Cool
