Hey Mike, good to hear from you. where are you living now? I am driving a truck again, race Jim pu from time to time, too hot right now to race, Jim had bypass surgery in may, but he is about ready to go racing again. In the old Faxon days I wasnt much of a bracket racer, still thought going faster was important. Take care

I am going to let the cat out of the bag everyone,,,,,,,,,,,,I am building a ___ci engine, going to have _ nitrous systems, going in a 7_ _____, its going to be ____.  I dont know what the fuss is, it is just going to be a bracket car that I can drive on the streets.

I couldnt resist leaving all them blanks in there. Fact is, I have my old Malibu back, have a 427SB with a cheater plate system. The engine is really kind of mild. I had it built by Tommy and Al at WF while I was overseas. Building mostly for bracket racing, but making it street legal so I can get out and enjoy it more than I would if it was a strip only car. I always said I would never have another strip only car. I have a 92 Camaro, will still build, but waiting for a tittle. I want a small tired car. I have a 400 for it, it will be a street only car, but going to take awhile to get everything together it. It will be a winter project.

That's awesome you got the malibu back. I can't wait to see it when you get it all back together.

I still consider mine a street car somehow myself. If I couldn't drive it to sonic a couple times a year I would build something else.
Although I will not race it on the street again, I still consider it a street car. I will probably build a street car that is a little more fun to drive in the years to come.
Monte's car has really got me thinking about that.

Overall I am just glad to be back into the hobby, just my priorities are different now. But I sure did miss all my car friends!
