Nitrous vs. Blowers ?

Just thought we needed more activity.

Would you guys prefer Blowers, Nitrous or Turbo's in your vehicles? And Why? Or is Naturally aspirated the only way to go?

ive always like the whining sound of a blower but nothing is more impressive than and all motor car vs. a power enhanced car such as a blower or nitrous when the all motor car can pull away from a power enhanced car that is just way more impressive to me.

depeneds on what your talking about. LIke your truck multiport fuel injection with a supergharger(side mount blower) and your car blown (top mount)with Injection. Actualy those are both the same so I guess if you can afford it blown injection.

I would love to build a turbo car one of these days. Actually I wouldn't mind putting a turbo motor in my nova to play around with as my next motor. Not that many people know anything about them and there isn't much info on-line. Anyone have any experience with a turbo or dual turbo car? Aftermarket application, not grand nationals and things.

Jack down at John's runs a turbo on his grand national I think he knows a thing or 2 about tuning them. I know he's reading this if we could just get him to sign in and talk about them.

Personally, I like the look of a blower with a big scoop. But the more compact size and cool sound of a turbo are hard to beat. I do have one question, what's the best way to over-come turbo-lag off the line?

There are lots of smaller ways to get around it. You could even use a small shot of NOS. There is also a system called ALS Anti-Lag-System that produces small explosions in the turbo system to keep it spooled up. This is illegal in a lot of racing bodies.

That's what I have been reading. One of these days I need to give it a shot. This time I am going to go ahead and just use Nitrous. But I am trying to build the car this time where down the road I can experiment with a few things.

EXACTLY!

Plus I never did trust my stick welds I made on my cage. Boy, I can't weld. Moody's work makes me feel a lot safer.
