Project Super Nova Radiator
04/27/08 at 22:20:19

A new radiator / fan combo has ben long overdue for SuperNova.
With the upcoming cruise, the original 1 core copper/brass would just not keep up.
I've been working on this car for over 8 years and this will be the first time I get it out for the cruise.

This was the original 69 radiator that was in the car when I got it.

I had to shorten the lower hose and modify the top bracket a little to get a good fit.

Next, I ran a wire with a 20A fuse from my solenoid to a relay I mounted on the firewall.

Because I didn't want to cover up the front of my new radiator with a tranny cooler, I fabricated some brackets to hold it just below the radiator.
It won't get a great deal of airflow in this location, but should be just fine.

Looks great. I need to go check it out in person!

I like the tranny cooler.
