Stacy Kinny in lawton is running on real 10.5's and running 5.74's all day long in his mustang. I used to race with him a lot back in the days. He was just starting to use nitrous back then. That was on 10inch tires, stock suspension. My car is back halfed now, but if I had my choice it would be another 10.5 car. been thinking about selling this one and building a 10.5 car again.

Would have loved to see it make a full pass! I debated long and hard before I back halved mine. I just decided it didn't matter. That's what I always wanted to do so I did it. The 10.5 class would be a blast but oh well. I can always put 10.5w's on her! Chris

I thought about just putting 10.5w's on my car now that it was running. I dont plan on running nitrous, so 10.5's would be a temptation to put nitrous on it to run classes that require 10.5 tires. I am in the process of selling all my nitrous parts, nitrous converter etc. If I keep my car, will just do the bracket stuff. I enjoy it just as much as nitrous racing, just dont have to rebuild the car from bumper to bumper as much.

I do have a practice tree, and use it all the time. That way I am ready when we do decide to go. The pu isnt running right now, had some problems with and havnt figured out what is wrong.
