With so many new users I thought I would take a couple minutes to give a couple quick ways to resize pictures.

The easiest way is to download this little program from microsoft.

http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizer PowertoySetup.exe

Once you install that program you can actually resize the picture from anywhere inside windows.

Browse to your picture directory and right click on any picture then click on resize picture

Then choose small as the picture size.

It will create another picture in the same directory. It will be named the same thing except it will have (small) in the name.

You should be set!
