I agree that ppl get excited and want to have the 1st of anything.
As far as ford goes, it sounds like they are close to trouble anyway.
Not closing their doors, but major changes.
I heard on the news that they fell to 3rd behind GM, and Toyota for earnings this quarter.
IF the production Challenger looks exactly like these pics, I would create a big boost for the muscle car market. Even though the Charger is a 4 door- at least it's a rwd car w/ a v-8 hemi option.
Let's face it, I love chevrolet, but right now, Dodge has the lead in this market. followed by Ford with their Mustangs.  The only RWD car chevy makes is the Corvette. (not counting ponitac GTO)
It would appear we are on the verge of another muscle car war...... yea for us.

I heard they are dropping the gto and the corvette isnt in the same class as the other look at price and seating

I agree the Corvette isn't in the same class- A fast car that's fun to drive-yes.
I true muscle car in the sense- no.
