I would go electric solenoid also. You can get them for 3 speeds but they are a little trickier. For a 2 speed they are simple.

I agree,
Is there a speed advantage to either one?
Like CO2 is faster, or are they about the same.

ELECTRIC IN THEORY SHOULD BE FASTER ANYONE ELSE WANT TO WIEGH IN ON THAT BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW IF I'VE EVER SEEN ANY SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISON

Around town I would prefer a good old fashion 4spd in a non fat tire car, for bracket racing I would prefer a glide
