Top Ten

I pose the question to all off you. If you were to make a top ten list of the fastest streetcars in Altus , who would be on it. I am talking cars that are tagged and can be driven on the street.

Great topic! I wish Tahlequah counted maybe I could bust into the top ten! Of course here the lady that cuts my hair drives a 5.40 corvette! (Not streetable)

I do have a good street tune for my car now. Seems to hook well. I wish it was like the 80's where we could make 20 passes a day out in the country.

See below, my home away from home. (In the 80's and 90's)

If we just had as much traffic as we used to have!

It would have been crazy already.

Come on guys throw some names out!  How many streetable 6 second cars are there?

Brett's Mustang
Brent's Nova
Brian's 55 Chevy
Jay's Nova
Lauritsen's Nova
Bobby Konen's Mustang
Hasn't Jason made some 6 second passes? Who am I leaving out? I idin't put those necessarily in the order of fastest and down.

Nick, Chris and Floyd are two of my best friends but the Ranchero isn't streetable and the red Nova isn't really local anymore. I really hate saying that. I wish it was. Don't get me wrong I love both of those cars! The idea behind this topic is a car that that is tagged, mufflered, has full lighting and has the ability to be driven quite bit, not just from your house to Sonic or a lap around the cruise one time. What do you think?

Hey Nick, I think we all would love to see the 69 Camaro on the street again. I think you should drive it to school sometime!

What about Derrick Latham's Camaro? I don't think he has ever run it but it should be pretty quick!

Thanks for putting me down for local nick. I wish I was. My name is out of the mix since I live up here now.

Brent
Jason
Jerry
Monte
Jeff's Truck
Jay (Did he move?)
Greg (He moved also didn't he?)
Brian
Steve
Brett

Both Sammy and Floyd's cars are fast and reliable. They could both street them pretty easy if they wanted to. They are too busy winning at the track though. I would give up a couple hundred of my country wins for a wally!

Those are in no order.

Who did I miss?

Chris my car is the slowest on your list. Surely there is another that is faster. My ten would be..

Brett's Mustang
Jerry's Nova
Jay's Nova
Jason's Nova
Derrick's Camaro
Brent's Nova
Brian's 55
Jeff's Chevy p/u
Bobby Konen's Mustang

Not in that order. Did I miss someone?

I bet Derrick's Camaro is fast but didn't he say he wasn't going to race it?

I had left Bobby off. Is his still streetable?

Hey guys,  mine is streetable I love this topic the cool thing is there are alot of street cars here that are crazy fast. If I could talk my dad into putting some nitrous or a blower pulley on his cobra he may get in the list. Can't wait until the weather warms up and everyone gets out and about. Hey Monte floyd is trying to sell his nitrous kit if you were wanting to use some laughing gas this summer, that car would fly.

Just visited site for first time and was pleasantly surprised old nova was mentioned. Will have to do some blower tuning to try to run with the FAST crowd but may be up to the task.
