Introduction - New guy
03/15/08 at 20:11:45

Hey fellas,

I found this site through Don, who I met on a bronco forum.

My name is Alex, I've been stationed here in Altus for about 3 years, but haven't had a 4x4 until about 4 months ago, when I bought a 1992 Ford Bronco fullsize with the 5.8L 351W out in Arizona and drove it back.

Work thats been done since I've owned it:
I removed the electronic transfer case, and swapped in a manual transfer case, and manual hubs.
I added some foglights and a very important communication device (Yeah just trying to make the CB sound cool)
Today I replaced everything for the cooling system, radiator, water pump, thermostat and housing, heater core, and all hoses.
- Yay she no longer overheats, nor does the belt squeal!

I'm sure I've done more (My wallet proves it), but thats the big things that I'm happy are done.

A little about me:
Enlisted in the Air Force, Electronics Technician by trade, originally from Arizona.
21 Years old, and somewhat new to wheeling, trying to learn all I can and take it slow.
I like long walks on the beach, and moonlit dinn... oops wrong forum.

Without further ado, heres a pic of the rig:

...

I look forward to chatting with you guys and hopefully coming out and learning from you guys.

Cheers!
-Alex

I'd love to come it just really doesn't look good for while now. They just told me today they need me to run a new shift which will be Friday thru Tuesday out on the base. I;m not sure how long they're talking but it might be a few months before I have a free weekend now.

I'll find out more info and let you guys know, but I'm pretty sure I can't make 4/5 unless I take leave.

I'll keep ya updated when I find out exactly what their plan is for me.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
