I might have gotten a little carried away with this post but I have done a lot to my old Jeep over the years. So here it goes.

Here’s what I started with
...
...

Then I built a cage, bumpers, swing out spare tire rack, added a winch, installed a hydro assist steering, changed to spring over with YJ springs, shackle reversal, built new axles with 4.56 gears, Detroit locker and Moser alloy axles front and rear (narrowed Dana 44 front and a narrowed Chrysler 9 ¼ rear) and moved up to 35 “ tires.  Oh Ya some orange paint.
...
...
...

Then I built a custom traction bar / skid plate, welded up some bead locks, and moved up to some 38” Creepy Crawlers.
...
...
...
...
...
...
...

Then I replaced the stock drive train with a TBI 350, 700 R trans and a 3 speed Stak Monster Box. Custom built new cross-member / skid plates. Stretched the wheelbase to 101” by moving the front axle forward 5” and switched to a pair of custom Alcan front springs.  Three linked the rear and moved the rear axle back 3” and used 6” over TJ coils. Didn’t like the 3-link after first trip changed it to a triangled 4-link set up.    Built a custom fuel tank to fit in stock location but still clear the rear axle.  Built tube front and rear fenders. Built a custom console to hold custom trans shifter, new gauges and switches.
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...

Tonight I am going to update my rear drive shaft moving up to a 1350 CV joint and 1350 pinion u-joint.
It never ends.

Fab is the one who did all the awsome work on mine as well. Cool  Now once he gets better, and gets caught up on some work, he will be taking mine back under the knife for some major mods.. Cool
