Well I was thinking about buying this red shortbed that is sitting in front of a local bank. Only I think that it is past de-edging status!  Monte

The Body guy is going to be there today to start doing a little bodywork on the rear of my car to fix a couple small problem areas.

The wheel tubs will also be going in.

Is it down to 895.00 yet? I wonder if the bank would finance it for four years?  Ha Ha  I figured it had sold already. I'm seriously thinkin' of selling my four door pickup. I really want a 55 post. Rob's got one so I'd better get one!!!  I'm stoked about Chris's car. That thing should be bulletproof when Bill gets thru with it. I'm sure Chris will put to the test!!  Monte

Thanks Monte!

So am I. Just ready to get it back. I just want it at least strong and safe enough I can change out motor's or rear ends and not worry about needing to change everything.

Back when I built it I didn't care much about stuff that didn't make it go fast. Now I would rather have it strong and safe. Then worry about building horsepower.

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP YOU HAVE GIVEN ME OVER THE YEARS!

It's been way to long since I have been into this. The only reason I got back into it was that night getting yours ready for the cruise!

A few update pics on my car.

Bill got a body guy to straighten up the fenders after the cut.

He has most of the big stuff worked out. He had to shrink a lot of it.

He is doing the touchup stuff and primer today.

I was also. He said it would have a little bondo on the seam itself and that should be it. He really worked the metal.

I won't post the before pic, but it was WAVY.

Chris, that guy got busy didn't he!  Wonder if he paints that well.  I was worried he would take a month or so. That didn't slow Bill down at all!  Monte
