There will be another Rockcrawl/comp on sat feb 23.We will have event flyers and more info soon.It was a great event last year and should be even better this year.

Same rules and classes as before.

Crawling at the Canadian

$20 to compete

Classes

Stockish*
Up to 37” tires
Full bodied truck, stock frame
Lifted for tire clearance

Modified*
Up to 44” tires
Body modes OK
Stock frame
Stock type suspension

Extreme*
Anything goes
Tube frame/ modified frame
Any tire size
4 linked coil over etc….

NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS before or during the event, any driver/spotter team consuming alcohol or using drugs will be disqualified.
All open topped vehicles will have
roll protection capable of supporting the weight of the vehicle.
Seat belts and helmets are required to be worn at all times.
You may have one co-driver/spotter….spotter can only exit or enter vehicle while vehicle is not moving. Vehicle can not move until spotter has seat belt fastened.
OHV sticker or current registration and inspection required on all vehicles.
No loose items in vehicle.
Driver must be 18 years of age with a valid Drivers license

Scoring system will be discussed at drivers meeting.


*Subject to discretion of tech inspectors, any re-classing will be agreed upon by the competitors at the Drivers Meeting.

TECH will be at the West side of the Sand flats

nick, dont believe I will get to enter couldn't seem to find a class for my junker, and the rules
would probally ruin the chances for the liquid-wrencher

well iv'e decided to leave the liquid wrench at home this time, cant afford to break

JOHN AND I WILL LEAVE OUT ON THURSDAY MORNING AND TRY AND GET US ALL A SPOT TO CAMP LIKE A BUNCH OF GYPSYS.  YOU CAN GET YOUR OFFROAD PERMIT THERE UNLESS YOUR CRAWLER IS REGISTERED AND STREET LEGAL THEN YOU DONT NEED ONE. GET WITH FULLTOP HE PROBALLY KNOWS WHERE YOU CAN GET ONE NOW [smiley=beer.gif]

I was told by some texas friends not to worry about it, just pull the tags off your tow rig. I didn't do anything last year. Had the expired tags for my blazer on it, they never said anything. I think they are mainly after the 4 wheelers. But I can get the Info for the stickers if anyone wants one the cost less than $10.00

just got the final word last night at the FFA meeting. we won't be able to make amarillo we will be showing hogs all day saturday :'(
