Title: Sunday at the track!
Post by dewberryb on 07/30/07 at 06:48:21
I ran my revo at the track on Sunday. I was the only one there. I guess it had something to do with the heat. The heat doesn't bother me as much as others. You kind of get used to the extreme heat being deployed to the desert. The track is not too bad. I can't figure out what there shooting for with huge jump at the back of the track. I cleared it twice! That was when I got a good run at it. I bounced off the fence once. I nose dived the 55 gallon drums a couple of time and came to the conclusion that I was going to break something soon. I think a 1/8 buggy would be more at home on this track. If I had a modded nova in my tuck I would clear it. I bashed for about two hours and didn't break anything!

Maybe the next time you guys could call me when there is going to be a big turn out. 471-9729!

;D

Yeah I would have like to go my revo is down I bought a new picco for it and I seems to have some problems I haven't had time to finish the break in on the hyper 7, The storm I think needs some major tuning. However the tmaxx runs fine but absolutely sucks on that track. Maybe I will have some time to get them going this week. If any one has Joe's # I would like to get it I want him to look at the motor on the revo to make sure its not something I'm doing wrong before I send it back.

Most new moter troubles are from a bad glow plug or air leak. If this is a revo you are talking about check the fuel tank! The o-ring on the cap! I also have some odds and ends for a revo. If you need anything give me a call!

I believe it has a major air leak the only way it will run is if you completely cover the carb with your finger

the motor brace is that the one the motor mount sets in? I actually need the section of the motor mount that attaches to the chassis I broke mine and figure together to long after it's running. You should have my # give me a call.

Thanks for the motor brace and the other stuff. I'll make sure I call next time I go to the track, but if you want to go bashing I know of a couple of others places to go as well.
