Title: Izzy's K5
Post by Izzy135 on 04/13/07 at 18:10:03
First let me say thank you for letting me join the Forum. Now here are some pics of my K5. This is one of those projects that will take some time to complete but will be very nice when its done. Bought this K5 very cheap and put about $3000 into it so far. As far as I can tell the body is solid, the engine is a 350 w/a turbo 350 tranny which i had rebuilt. The engine is tired and i am contemplating putting a 383 into it. However that might have to wait for a bit and I might just rebuild the current 350. So here is a before pic, taken after I purchased the vehicle.

My 4x4 club[rock hard 4x4] willbe having our spring run here soon.I'll post up a date when it is set.We had about 18 trucks & 75 people last year. every one is invited as long as we know howmany are coming so we can have enough food

I need to find a 80 something longbed chevy 4 wheel drive to mess with. Just need a cheap beater that has a good working 4 wheel drive.

I was just thinking longbed, not for rock crawling. Just general mudding and trail riding.
