Dont know if the same people run it now, but back in the 90's I used to go out there quite abit. Very good people running it and the track was alwys consistant. The first time I went out there it was raining and the races were called off at Faxon. I called out there to see if they were running and was told yes, no rain and races were on. When I got there it had just started raining, very little but some just the same. I went to the tower and talked to the guy to see if they calling the races off. He told me he didnt want to because he had allready told a fellow from Okla they were running. I told him that was me and he said if it was posible they would race since I drove all the way out there. It stopped raining and we did get in a day of racing. My car was slower because of altitude, but track was great. I think my worst reation time was 505 in 6-7 passes. I was running a single delay box and ran a Duster late in the day, he was dialed in 11.79 to my 11.49, I added .030 to my box to leave off his light, red lit with a .205 light, man was I pissed. I knew I couldnt have missed the tree that bad. Then it dawned on me, should have added .30 not .030. Kicked myself for that one, my dad kicked me a few times too. Long story just to say what a good track it is.  :)

I know this may shock everyone, but that was before I ran NITROUS. I would run 10.90's at Noble, Lubbock is a fairly high altitude track. Ran about the same at Amarillo.
